Grandma's Birthday Gift to Chrissy

Chrissy's Grandma Chris ordered a Cinderella Tutu outfit from a friend's business for her 2nd birthday.  When we saw the dress, I was so amazed at how well made and perfect the dress turned out.  If you're curious, here is where we purchased the outfit: Tutu Too Cute!

Our little Cinderella princess.  The magic of Cinderella for us began when my sister, Lela, began singing the "Sing Sweet Nightingale" song to Chrissy when she was a tiny baby.  It always soothed her when she was crying or fussy.  Also, Lela's full name is Senitalela, which means "Cinderella" in Tongan.  Chrissy loves this story, as well as her Grandma Chris and Aunty Lela.

Chrissy in a candid Cinderella pose.   She wore this for our ward Halloween Trunk-er-treat party with her Cinderella "glass" slippers, which are clear, glittery plastic and a little white T underneath.  She actually ran around so much that she lost, not only one slipper, but two!  I call that a real Hawaiian Cinderella :)
